What’s Inside The Yoga Therapy For Low Back Pain Course
Week 1:
We start from the very beginning: After exploring comfortable resting positions and taking a baseline assessment (so we can track your progress!), we'll begin to learn how to move with our breathing.
You'll be given one longer yoga practice and one short yoga practice to sprinkle throughout the week.
Week 2:
During week 2, we'll continue the practices we've learned in week 1 and begin to refine our movements and breathing. This is the week we begin looking at our lifestyle! You'll learn tips and tricks on how to identify what's contributing to your back pain, and what to do about it.
In addition to doing the yoga practices this week, you'll have worksheets and videos that will send you on a lifestyle investigation!
Week 3:
Week 3 brings new postures and breathing techniques! You'll be introduced to 2 new yoga practices to sprinkle throughout your week.
By week 3, you'll be really getting into the groove of the yoga, and ready to learn some new techniques. You'll also have a good handle on some new and improved lifestyle choices!
Week 4:
During week 4, we'll do a progress evaluation to see how far we've come, and continue refining the yoga practices that we learned in week 3. This week we also dive into stress management.
As you continue with your yoga practices during week 4, you'll also spend some time learning techniques for stress management, and going on another lifestyle investigation - this time the topic is stress!
Week 5:
During week 5, you'll begin to incorporate new postures and continue to refine your breath techniques with an updated yoga practice.
By week 5, you might notice that life is just starting to feel different (better!)
Week 6:
Our final week together! During week 6, you'll learn a new mini yoga practice to sprinkle throughout the week, and you'll build your personal long-term plan for success.
We'll also do a final progress evaluation to see all the amazing changes we've made over the last 6 weeks.
